VOCODAN is a company dedicated to the field of technical aids for handicapped, specializing in speech aids. The purpose is developing speech aids products, and increase the voice quality, where the voice otherwise is week, unclear and difficult to understand.

The voice is an important and personal way of communication. A voice disorder is any change in the voice which affects the sound of the voice and ability to communicate. In many ways the communication in everyday situations is difficult, example using the telephone or holding a conversation in places with high background noise. Voice disorders may occur from medical conditions, following illness, damage or injury to the larynx.

The philosophy is to have focus on the person and the type of voice disorder. The individual needs and wishes are higest priority, so that the optimum solution is reach.
